Subject	EGR stuck, huge vacuum leak, need your opinions

Message	so my mechanic said my EGR valve is stuck open and it's the cause of the huge vacuum leak i've been fighting for 2+ months. he quoted 9.5 hours labor to replace it (but i would bypass it instead with the $35 CZP kit). is this a fair estimate and what else should i replace if i do go ahead with it? i think he's going to drop the trans and tilt the motor to get to the EGR valve. thanks.
